The Lithuanian Government has set a strategic goal to be achieved by the country by the year 2015 – Lithuania will become the Northern European Service Hub. Lithuania has already been chosen as the best service business development offshore destination by Barclays (UK, 2009), Lindorff (Norway, 2008), Unicall (Norway, 2008), SEB (Sweden, 2008), CSC (USA, 2007) and other multinationals.

By the year 2015 the share of export of services should make approximately one third of Lithuania’s total exports.  Similarly, by 2012 one third of the total FDI in Lithuania will settle down in the services sector.
