Ryanair to Open Kaunas-Bristol Line
Irish low cost carrier Ryanair that operates 7 routes from Kaunas Airport announced that next spring it would launch flights from Kaunas to Bristol in the UK. The airline says it sees good business prospects in Lithuanian airports and plans to increase its number of flights from Kaunas.
At a meeting with the Lithuanian Transport Minister Mr. Eligijus Masiulis, the representatives of Ryanair said that the company planned to increase direct flights from Kaunas Airport and was interested in the possibilities of operating in other Lithuanian airports. In response, Mr. Masiulis stated: "The possibilities of direct communication between Lithuanian airports and European cities continue growing. Airlines see business prospects in Lithuania's airports".
