On April 26, 2004 the Lithuanian Commission on Compensation Matters approved the Lithuanian Guidelines for Industrial Cooperation agreements (Offset).

This part of the website explains about the scope, terms and practicalities of the Compensation Agreements (Offset) and is targeted at foreign companies as well as Lithuanian companies.

Capacity development in the field of Industrial Co-operation

National Agency of Enterprise and Housing, Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs in Denmark , the Lithuanian Ministry of Economy and the Lithuanian Development Agency have implemented project "Capacity development in the field of Industrial Co-operation".

The mail objectives of the project are to assist the Lithuanian Ministry of Economy, Lithuanian Development Agency and other public institutions in establishing an understanding of the IC system in Denmark and in other European countries as a base for implementing and managing a well-functioning IC system in Lithuania and to sustain and enhance the technological level of Lithuanian defence-related industry through a well-functioning IC system, contributing in the longer term to a more competitive defence-related manufacturing industry in Lithuania.
